FINANCE MEETING

We are having a meeting on Thursday, February 24 in respects to finances.  Apparently more details about finances have come sooner then expected.   I am not sure if that is good or bad news.  I suspect that it is good news.  I just know that I will be able to determine my involvement possibly sooner than I thought.

    Hey Chris! This project sounds great, just a couple questions:

    Is there a way to donate anonymously? If you do not end up raising enough money will the donations be refunded or put towards the project in a different way? Are these donations for you specifically or is this going towards a big pool at OIT?

    Hey Anonymous,
    A pool at OIT sounds fantastic!!!! Haha, If not enough money is raised, I will make sure all of the money is refunded. It is very important to me that when people contribute to any nonprofit that the money is used exactly as specified. That is one of the reasons that a blog is beneficial; everyone involved can see the progress.

    I am thinking that it would be best if people held onto the money until I knew I had enough. If people were willing to let me know what they are willing to contribute I can keep track and then let them know either way. At that point, checks can be sent directly to Solar Hope anonymously indicated who they would like to sponsor. If more is received than what is necessary, I will redistribute the money in some proportionally "fair" way.

    Does that work, or do you have a better suggestion? This process is new to me so I am definitely open for suggestions.
